Observed Privacy and Data Usage

This guide details the observed data storage, third-party requests, and navigation behavior of the Orbit Sum demo. It distinguishes local wallet mechanics from unverified external services and tracking.

Local Wallet Storage

The demo stores your whole virtual wallet coins, fractional hundredths, and a pending-round flag in your browser localStorage. This data persists across page reloads but resets when you manually refresh. A captured stake is deducted at the start and saved immediately. Fractional carry is kept separate and credited as whole coins upon settlement. An unfinished round is discarded without refund upon reload.

Third-Party Requests

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and sends hit data to Statinside analytics. Separate external buttons for Login, Register, and Play navigate to unverified pdbx.click links. These buttons do not establish an affiliation with the demo provider. No payment, deposit, or withdrawal occurs within the original demo interface.

Privacy Assumptions

The absence of an account or payment form does not prove anonymity or minimal data processing. Observed fields include wallet balances and round flags. Third-party analytics and fonts indicate external data transmission. Clearing your cache removes local data but does not affect server retention or external tracking. No verified operator or licence is established by this demo.

Frequently asked questions

Does the demo save my personal data?

It saves your virtual wallet balance and round status in localStorage. No account is required, but third-party analytics and fonts still collect usage data.

Are the Login and Play buttons safe?

They navigate to unverified external sites via pdbx.click. These buttons do not indicate official affiliation or verified security for those external destinations.
